Troubleshooting

WhatsApp disconnected

Your device shows as disconnected in the dashboard.

Solution:

  • Open WhatsApp on your phone
  • Go to Settings > Linked Devices
  • Check if WH Connect session is still active
  • If not, go to your WH Connect dashboard and click "Reconnect"
  • Scan the new QR code — you'll be back online in seconds

Messages not sending

Messages are queued but not being delivered.

Solution:

  • Verify your device is connected (green status in dashboard)
  • Check your phone has internet access
  • Make sure WhatsApp is not logged out on your phone
  • Check if the recipient's number is formatted correctly (include country code)
  • If the issue persists, try disconnecting and reconnecting via QR code

QR code not loading

The QR code doesn't appear when adding a new device.

Solution:

  • Refresh the page and try again
  • Clear your browser cache
  • Make sure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
  • Check if you've reached your device limit (Starter plan: 1 device)
  • Contact support if the issue continues

Messages delayed

Messages are sending but with noticeable delay.

Solution:

  • Check your phone's internet connection
  • Ensure WhatsApp is not in battery saver / restricted mode
  • Keep WhatsApp open in the background on your phone
  • If using Wi-Fi, ensure it's stable
  • Delays over 30 seconds may indicate a phone connectivity issue

Workflow messages not triggering

CRM workflow actions for WhatsApp aren't firing.

Solution:

  • Verify the workflow is active and published
  • Check that the WhatsApp action step has the correct device selected
  • Ensure the contact has a valid phone number with country code
  • Test the workflow manually with a single contact first
  • Check the WH Connect dashboard for any error logs
